It is hard to believe that we have had Mia for just over one month now.   She is doing remarkably well and we cannot imagine life without her.  The most difficult thing for Mia so far has been
getting into a regular sleeping schedule, but we are almost there!  She has been sleeping with us almost every night because that is the only way she will sleep through the night.  We are
happy that we can provide the comfort she needs to rest peacefully.
Mia loves to dance to The Wiggles, take baths, play with her toys, go on boat rides, read books, take walks with Stella, and eat food (her favs are peanut butter toast, yogurt, watermelon,
cream of wheat, grilled cheese sandwiches, peas, ice cream, and goldfish).  She has learned gimme five, fish lips, and various words- hot, wow, cool, mom, dad and "t" for Stella.  She got
another bottom tooth yesterday making her total teeth count eight- four on top and four on the bottom.
Since arriving home, we have had lots of visitors so we have been very busy.  She has enjoyed meeting everyone.  Mia got to experience her first Halloween.  We dressed her in a
traditional silk Chinese dress and took her to my school for a costume parade.  A neighbor boy came over to carve a pumpkin with us and then we went trick-or-treating to a few
neighborhood houses.  She thought it was fun!   We're going to a friend's house for Thanksgiving and plan to travel to cold Minnesota for Christmas so Mia can meet the rest of the family
and play in the snow!
I am off to play with the cutie-pie now!

I'm Home!
