August 2007- Life has been busy and I have neglected to update this site! I am still selling
bracelets, but am almost out of the large size. I have decided to take a moment to update the site
as many people have emailed and asked how Mia is doing. She is developing into a beautiful,
smart, funny, and loving little girl. She makes us smile every day and we are so thankful for her.
Mia will be three in October which is also the month of the two year anniversary of her adoption.
Mia started school last March- a Montessori school- and she really enjoyed it. She took the
summer off to spend with Mommy (I have the summers off since I teach second grade). We
played on the swing set that daddy built, went swimming, and traveled a lot. One highlight was a
trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands. We stayed at the Beaches Resort which is a Sesame Street
themed resort. We had breakfast with Zoe, a birthday party with Elmo, baked cookies with
Cookie Monster and more. Mia loved it. During the summer, we also accepted the referral of a
beautiful baby boy from Guatemala (Logan). We have been working on bringing him home to join
our family. He is almost two months old now and we hope to have him home with us next spring. I
will include one of the most recent photos of Logan below at five weeks old. Mia cannot wait to
welcome him home. We will continue to wait for our referral of Mia's little sister from China, but it
may take about three years as of the latest news. A long wait, but we will have our hands full until
then anyhow! I am posting some favorite photos of Mia from the last few months. I plan to
rearrange my site soon and post more photos from time to time. Thanks!!

Our newest photo of Logan (below) from his four month check up! He weighs 14 pounds 8 ounces and is getting big. We will visit him for a week at Christmas in Guatemala and cannot wait to cuddle with him.
