The day is finally here... It is with great joy and huge smiles that we announce our daughter to the world! Daughter’s Chinese Name:  Jiang Xiao Mo Translation:  Dawn Desert Soon to be Called:  Mia Belle Milchman    Birth date:  October 6, 2004 As of May 25:  She is 26.4 inches long and 15.4 pounds    Orphanage:  Guigang City Social Welfare Institute However, she is currently in a foster home. Province:  Guangxi   LID:  January 26, 2005   Date of Referral:  July 29, 2005 at 3:26 p.m.   Agency:  CCAI- the best! We leave October 6 to bring our beautiful daughter, Mia, home!   Mia is described as very active and she loves to laugh out loud.   Her favorite toy is a telephone.  She is a deep sleeper and enjoys music.   Mia is absolutely perfect!  We feel so blessed and cannot wait until we hold her in our arms which will be October 10.       Updates:  As of July 29, Mia has two teeth, weighs 16.5 pounds, and can walk with someone holding her hands.  Here are updated photos that we received this week of our cute little girl: Since our travel plans were delayed, we received another updated photo of Mia (see below).  It was taken on September 15.  It is amazing to see how big she is getting in each photo.  She can stand by herself and even walk around with some help.  We are so ready to have her home!
